Cracked iPhone – Here’s what to do!

So you dropped your beautiful iPhone, and now you have a cracked iphone. The misery. The horror. Oh man…it just sucks. Every time you swipe to unlock, you can feel the granular pieces of glass sticking into your baby soft skin. It’s painful. It hurts, not just your finger, but your heart. It’s comparable to having a child with a broken arm. You know you can fix it, but at the same time, you don’t want to spend a ton of cash on fixing it.

Here’s a few things you can do.

1) Grab a paper bag and breathe into it to avoid hyperventilating.

2) Visit your local iFixYouri, or log onto our website and find the repair you need.

3) Select the repair that suits you best. Prices vary. As do quality. We don’t skimp on quality. You have an expensive phone, should you really put a piece of glass on it the will probably break again, just this time easier? No would be the logical answer. You should go with quality. We use only Apple original parts. This will make sure that the fit, function, and feel is exactly how it was from the factory, when you bought it.

Why not just go with someone offering a SUPER cheap price? I see people advertising for $45 glass repair.

You pay for what you get. I always use the analogy, if you owned a nice BMW or Mercedes, would you put retreaded or used tires on it? Chances are, no.

See with cheap screen repair, you get cheap glass. A lot of times the digitizer will be very unresponsive, or overly responsive. The glass will be brittle and super thin. The home button won’t sit flush. And sometimes you can see through the glass where the iphone proximity sensor sits and it looks like 3 purple dots.

Stick with quality, over savings. It’s not worth the hassle that the cheap glass will cause you. We get a lot of customers who come in every day with glass that other iphone repair shops had put sub-par glass on, and well, it was shattered, causing the phone to malfunction, or causing all sorts of other problems.

Be smart. Repair wisely. And don’t waste.

Keep your chin up. A cracked iPhone is not that big of a deal. It’ll just set you back a couple Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee’s.

Patriotic iPhone 4 colors hit the USA!

Here’s a first, we have actual colored glass, in hand here at iFixYouri. These aren’t just vector images, these are the real deal. They look super clean, and super sharp.

If you’re into customizing your phone, this is the latest. It’s kind of like those light up antennas from the late 90’s that everyone was putting on their nokias. Next, we’re expecting possibly some colored bezels maybe? We’re not quite sure. Maybe bezels w/ LED’s in them. That’d be kinda neat.

The baby blue is accented with white trim and a matching white home button. The red, it’s the same. It’s all coming together in the customization of your iPhone 4! The quality is good and everything functions fine. Here are a few snap shots of the glass installed.

Pretty cool stuff. Turn to iFixYouri for all your iPhone 4 Repair needs.

Where?

Anyone on the verizon network.

When?

iPhone 5 Repair – Would this be the next?

iPhone 5 Repair? iPhone 4s Repair? Perhaps iPhone 4G Repair? Or Verizon iphone repair? Honestly, we’re not sure what we’re going to be calling it.

No one can say for sure. One thing that is for sure, is that it’s coming. Reporters say that Tuesday there will be press conference help in New York to possibly announce a new CDMA version of the iPhone.

Only time will tell but the fact of the matter is, is that the Android operating system is in fact surpassing the sales of the iPhone. Apple needs to change its’ tune quick, or they’ll be left scratching their heads wondering why they got passed.

It’s clear and evident from what we see every day that Verizon folks do not want anything to do with ATT, and many ATT folks, want nothing to do with ATT and are chomping at the bit to switch and upgrade once they get the chance.

Surely they will break. People will definitely drop it in water and suffer water damage. The repair industry will stay. What else can be said.

Tuesday we should find out. Stay tuned for more details…

iPhone 4 Glass Repair

So many options for iPhone 4 screen replacement services we understand how it can be confusing. We’re going to make this quick and simple, so that your iPhone screen repair goes smoothly and without complication.

Option #1: iPhone screen repair service – Have a skilled technician fix your broken iPhone. Make sure they’re using high quality OEM parts. Cheap parts will fail.

Option #2: DIY iPhone repair kit – Purchase a kit and do-it-yourself. Keep in mind, it’s not as easy as it looks. A lot of times we see people purchase kits and aren’t able to successfully install them.

On the iPhone 4, the screen and the LCD are fused together. If you buy just the glass, you’ll be SOL. Buy just the LCD, well, you’re SOL again.

Fused, high quality, OEM. Go cheap and you’ll get what you pay for. Plain and simple. You have a $600 phone, and you want to put a piece of $10 glass on it? Bad choice. That’s like putting used tires on a nice Porsche. Bad idea.

HTC Aria Repair – Yep, we have you covered!

Recently we’ve been seeing more and more phones that fall into the ‘other’ category. HTC Evo repair…check. HTC Incredible repair….check. HTC HD2 Repair…check on that one too.

Does this mean more people are buying other phones? Well, yes. More people are buying phones in general. Apple is carrying a sizable chunk of the industry on their shoulders, somewhere around 40%.

Recently we had many people come by and email about HTC Aria screen repair coming through our doors. These small, compact phones really pack a lot into them. Running on the Android operating system, the phones size is reminiscent of the early 2000’s razr flip phones, without the flip. Glass on the front, plastic on the back, they still break. HTC Aria, it’s okay, we have you covered.

With the new year right around the corner, literally only 6 hours away, we’re going to have to wrap things up here shortly and call it a year.

iPad 2 Repair – Will another product start breaking?

Quick and easy answer is yes. The iPad 2 will need repair services. Now-a-days everything breaks. All these new pieces of technology with giant screens all break. Whether you broke your new gadget and need Samsung Galaxy Tab Repair, an iPhone Repair, or an iPad 2 repair, they will all break. Unfortunately they all utilize glass.

Why glass? Well glass provides the quickest and most accurate touch response, best feel for the user, and functions the best. Plastic has a delay, doesn’t feel quite that good, and lets be honest, can’t compare.

To prevent it breaking, get a good case. Simple answer. Or leave them on the coffee table and never take them with you. Ya right! These things are meant for people on the go. Pick them up, toss them in your bag, take them on a plane, and don’t just sit there with them!

Well, that’s just a bit of food for thought. Happy holidays!
